so the things io need to do is first get hold of a 15 gallon tank min soon as poss, then get 2 more cories and a male cherry(i think mine are female, doesnt the male have like an extra fin called the anal fin? or am i just writin ****)
and finally if that works out i can add a few more smaller things

No, all fish have anal fins Cherry barb males are the ones that are cherry coloured. To quote from the profile,

Sexing: In terms of coloration, females are a tan/light pink with black lines. Males are slimmer bodied, and are a darker red with black lines (see pictures below). Before breeding, males will turn a very rich shade of red. In the store, males and females might sometimes be confused if conditions are stressful (males will turn pale, as will most fish under stress.

i think my cherry barbs arnt cherry barbs..
they look like tiger barbs but with out the characterisitc black marks, infact they have white/yllow marks and the black band...searchs...

they are albino tiger barbs...sold as cherries..
