Substrate: Flourite with a tiny bit of regular gravel
Temperature: 78F/25.5C
Lighting: Two 15W bulbs T-8
Filter: HOB Topfin 20
CO2: DIY coke bottle and DIY Nutrafin, 1 bps
Ferts: EI 1/32 tsp kh2po4, 1/8 tsp kno3, 1/32 csm+b 3x a week
Water Change: Twice a week
Extra: Piece of mopani wood, mini fountain pump
Inhabitants: 1 Mystus Leucophasis (needs a new home, anyone willing to take?) and trumpet snails. Had some cyclops at one point...
EDIT: I re-homed the catfish and now have 6 oto.

Plants:
Nymphaea zenkeri
Hygrophila difformis
Microsorum pteropus
Cryptocoryne wendtii green and brown
Cladophora aegagropila
Lilaeopsis mauritius
Anubias barteri var. nana

Problems I've had:
1.
zmcub7.jpg

A nice ceaseless coating of diatoms. I think I got that under control now. Fix: I changed my EI to what it is now and kept scrubbing. Upped water changes to twice a week.

Current problems:
Wisteria- older leaves die off and have brown on the leaves. Leaves are thin. Not so bushy.
Java Fern- small and thin
Anubias tiny compared to the one in my 55USG
I had pennywort but the leaves would stay small and eventually die
I had hornwort as well and it would die, turn brown and hard, lose its 'needles' (yes I managed to kill hornwort )
Starting to see Black Brush Algae growing on the wood

Need to find the usb thing for the camera..

It's been about a month. How's this tank doing? Seemed to be having some problems. Is it still setup?

I put some plants in around the same time as my 55. They seem to be doing alright. The otos really took out the brown algae. All I've noticed is some bba on the wood, like my 55 :\ Trying to get rid of it but struggling.
I had 6 otos but one died the day after I got it :( I had three in my 55 but one was (and I feel bad about this).. found him in the power head and the other was just dead on the substrate. No idea why. The remaining is so fat and cute.

Side views because the tank is on my desk and I didn't move stuff off to get a full, non blurry shot
Moss 'balls' held down by weights there because they kept floating up.

wow! that water wisteria has grown!

mine wont stop lol! its taken over my tank :D

I let my boyfriend pick out some fish for this tank. Got one angel and 6 harlequin rasboras, they are so pretty. Anyway, think this tank is overstocked or no?

1 angel
6 harl. rasboras

And somehow I got duckweed... I didn't buy any and I didn't see any on any plants I bought. Nor have I bought plants since early June...

not so sure on the angel as he gets bigger though! but time and other responses will tell :)

nice pictures

An update, I've been busy with class.
Crypts are doing much better in the 20g than they were in the 55.
Sad to say my angel is not doing so well :(

Pictures were rushed so they are blurry.

blackbeard is taking hold on the wood and heater... I don't know how to get rid of it very well. It's worse in my 55g otherwise everything else seems good.
