Ph Only 6.4, Any Help?

I've just took a reading for my Ph and it has turned out at 6.4. I tested my tap water too which is arou d 7.0. My ammonia and nitrite are both 0. Also I've just done a 50% water change this morning. I have platys, corys and xray tetras in my tank. Should I be worried about this? If so, is there anything round the house that can be used to raise the Ph as my LFS is closed today? I have some live plants and a piece of bogwood in there. Any advice anyone?
EDIT: I've tested the ph twice just to be sure and it is definitely only 6.4

PH level is fine, It's possible that the water from the tank gasses off and turns into 6.4 from 7 which is normal.

pH fluctuates throughout the day so it will also be different (especially at night) depending on when you take it.

I generally will test pH when the lights have been on for about 4 hours and do it the same time each day.
