Hi, so I've just set up my new tank, and it is in the process of cycling now. I've tested all the other parameters but was concerned with the ph and kh. The KH is sitting at 3 and the ph is 7.6-7.8. I'm planning on breeding bristlenose and L numbered plecos, maybe other fish in the future. I know I'm not meant to chase the parameters but I wanted to get your opinion on it. Should I do anything about it or just leave it. Thanks in advance

What is the GH of your source water? This is the more important parameter (leaving aside temperature). The KH is related, and the pH is related to both GH and KH.

Leave it, don't bother worrying about the pH, GH or KH. It is fine for bristlenose catfish and virtually all soft water fishes like tetras, Corydoras, rasboras, angelfish, etc.

I concur with Colin, leave it alone.
