Hello there to you all.
I have monday off work and plan to go to a nearby fishy wonderland and I need some help choosing some critters.

I have a newish set up (about 10 weeks I guess)
60ltr planted tank with 2 male guppies
3 female platys
1 male dwarf gourami
2 otos

I tried black neons, but two of them have died and I took the other three back to where i work and put them in their hospital tank ( I work at a garden centre with a large fish room)
My readings are fine:- Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 15ppm
But my problem is my pH which is 7.4. I grew up with a tank filled with many types of tetras, but I have moved away and I guess I can't have such fish anymore.

There are plenty of fish websites, but I can't find a basic list of pH likes and dislikes. I keep thinking of a fish and then looking it up to see if I can have it and it's taking ages plus I don't really know many species yet.

Does anyone have any ideas for me ?

I would like, say either two larger fish or a small school of another species.

Do you think I could get away with a pair of mollies as my pH is so high ?

Any help would be great.
Thank you.

Livebearers, african chiclids and rainbowfish all like higher PH. Most fish will do fine too when acclimated.
