Hello Everyone.

As most people will rember I managed to bring a LFS to justice afew weeks back and again my plan is in motion.

Today started as a normal day, I went to local PC store to buy myself a new laptop and on the way home my partner suggsted we call at the LFS to buy my PK Betta some more frozen Bloodworm.
As I never turn down a chance to buy some yummies for my PK.

So off we went to Pets At Home....
I dunno if all P@H shops are some but my Local one has it's Aquariums next to the freezer for foods so as we all do lol I went to on the Betta...

This is when the horror started... I found VT Male that was all white body and red fins in a tank full of red tail sharks!
Now the poor Betta was floating at top with it's fins shredded to bits and what looked a missing eye....

I ran over to the Aquaist and he said "Oh well atleast it wasn't one of the expensive fish"

After demanding to speak with the manager he told me there was nothing he can do and fish will always kill each other but it must of been a "faulty" fish for not fighting back and leading onto the comment "They are Siamese fighters"

At the moment I am writing to the head of P@H and demanding they explain themself for this!

The council have also been informed of yet more fish abuse!

Ungh, you will want to get a pic! That's terrible. Try blogspot.com and post it, then put up the website address where people can see it (and it's legal).

Good god! P@H near me have alot to answer for with their fish area as well. :(

Keep us posted on this! It's a disgrace

Some P@H staff are good and knowledgable some are not so good :( I guess it depends on their training and enthusiasm, our regular girl was on holiday and a new girl was trying her best to remember all that had been told to her.

Mentioned to her that she needed to remove one of the male fighters from the tank that contained two. Then heard her telling a couple that wanted to buy one as she was taking it out that they had to buy two females to go with it cos other wise it would fight.

I to get fed up with seeing fish that come in on a Tuesday delivery sucked into a filter by Thurseday having given up trying to fight it.

Did they get him out?!?!?! Did you buy him or someting?? What happened to the poor boy?

I got one of there nets and moved him into a tank that had live plants in, Mainly sword plants, Water will of been same cause all there tanks use 1 huge sump.

Ok, not quite bettas, but i feel exactly the same when i see apistogramma caciatuoids put in with dwarf puffers, poor things with hardly any fins left. Pity as i'm in the market for a couple of nice females.
