Peruvian Puffer

We just bought a aquarium from someone including fish,in it is a peruvian puffer,only small one.
I read on here that they need there teeth trimming,i was just wondering how would i go about trimming the poor things teeth if i need to,and what would naturaly keep his teeth in trim?

oh,i see i got loads of snails in the tank,just not very big ones at the moment,i guess i will have to get some bigger ones,lol.
