Are most household plastics ok for use in an aquarium? im asking this because i have a large sheet which i believe is perspex that im going to cut and use to divide the sand and gravel in my tank. anyone got any suggestions or opinions?

>>> cant anyone help me?

This particular room is not particulaly high traffic. There are not people here all day.

Perspex is okay to use, but it scratches very easily and becomes cloudy until it is almost opaque after a while.

I don'y understand what it is you are trying to do with it though, are you trying to replace your substrate?

this is what im going to try to do.

and I need the perspex to divide the two substrates to stop them mixing.
