Fish Crazy
Hi everyone!
I did some reading on the Beginner's Guide forum topic about Bacterial Blooms. I am assuming this is what is occurring in my tank, as the water is very cloudy regardless of filtration and aeration. I have a 10 gallon tank, with two platies, two balloon mollies, and two sparkling gouramis. My fish also recently had fry, so there is a fry cage with about 6 or 7 fry in my tank, about to be moved into a "nursery" tank. I have tried fasting my fish, vacuuming the gravel 2-3 times this week, and doing 30% water changes every other day (being sure to add Seachem Prime to the new water, as I have well water). But for some reason, this darn cloudiness just wont go away! I even added two ghost shrimp to keep the bottom of my tank clean. I don't want to solve this problem with Chemicals
But 1. The cloudiness makes my tank look wretched, and 2. I can't imagine this is healthy for my poor fish.
Can anyone give me some advice on how to fix this problem? It's never happened before!
