I picked up a little C. paleatus cory today when I was at my LFS. He's so small! He's been hanging out with my other cories - thank goodness he is fitting in! Anyways, I took a couple pictures, so here you go...

This is my adult C. paleatus:

And here's his mini, my new little guy:

It's not until you look at the second picture that you can appreciate just how teeny he is. He's very cute...cories are by far one of my favourite catfish.

Thanks MissD. He's my itty-bitty little precious-weciousness, I just LOVE him. He's smaller than my other two little "baby" cories, they're penny-sized. Here's a couple more pictures, my big C. paleatus is in the background of both of them, I think.

Very cute :D
Really admire the pictures you got there! I've got a 20G full of peppered cory fry (about 100 of them, from 2 weeks old to about 2 months old) and know that I cant get pics of them at all! :p

Are they prone to ich or anything nasty? The reason I am asking is my LFS has them at the moment and I WANT them desperately but my QT has salt in it ATM and I know they don't tolerate salt. I guess I am asking if it would be KINDA OK not to quar them before putting them in my 30gal.

Nice fish.... Definitely gotta get some :shifty:

sorry for hijacking.....

In all of my family and I's fishkeeping years, I have never had a cory with ich. I don't know if they are prone to it or not, but every time we had a case of ich the other fish would get it but the cories would not. Maybe it's just my luck, I don't know. I'm yet to have any disease in the 29 and hopefully it will stay that way! I'm no cory expert though, maybe ask in the Catfish section?

I think cories are immune to ick (just my exprience..when all my fish had ick..only the cories didnt..and..they are quite cute, gotta admit)

and...that cory is soooooo smalll!!! i bet he's only like 1 cm! :fun:
