Penguin 330 Filter HELP!!!!

Hello,
I just purchased the penguin 330 bio wheel filter, and it does not seem to be working. It's making noises like it is on and should work, but the wheels are not spinning and the water is not being sucked up. I'm not sure what to do to make this thing work, but my fish might die and i need help... Can anyone help me out??

Fill the filter case up with tank water then try plugging it in. I have a Penquin 330, they don't self prime. Once you've put enough water in it that it starts running back into the tank it should start making slurping noises for a few seconds after you power it on. Usually starts right up after that.
