Peas

I usually remove what is left after about an hour because I am sure that leaving the remains in the tank would affect water quality.

My congo tetras seem to really like the peas -- so much that the peas don't even come close to ever reaching the gravel.

For other tanks -- when the peas do make it to the bottom, if they are still there after 30 minutes I scoop out what's left with the fish net.

Not all my fish like them -- the pearl gouramis will spit them out.

My neon blue dwarf gourami loves them and tries to hog the whole lot..... come to think about it he does that with anything I put in there!!
