Peas

I have searched everywhere for shelled peas but cant find them any where will frozen peas boiled untill soft be ok for my fish

Yes. I use frozen ones only. Just nuke them in a small glass of water in a microwave for a few seconds and pop the centre out and mush it up a bit.

shelled peas are just peas with no shells. yes any pea will do.

dont over cook as joby said. a few secs in the microwave in a mug of water will do the trick.

just enough so they squidge a bit.

i put 4 peas in my 40G once a week. be carefull though if you have lots of bottom feeders. they really like peas and mine fight over them for ages.

turns into a football match in the end really funny...

i am planning on feeding peas to my two goldies would 1 pea each a week be ok

should be. although i know nothing about goldies apart from they poo a lot

i feed 4 peas to my 40G (about 20 fish fight over them) once a week

I just put em in a fist and blow warm air through them for a minute or two. u could put em in a glass of water too. then just make/find a rip on the pea and squeeze the good stuff into the tank. The fish will love em mine do I notice alot of people say once a week; is there an issue with feeding them peas too often? (every other day etc)
