Pearlscale Goldfish

I wasn't sure where to put this really.

anyway, i saw a really really fat goldfish at my favorite LFS the other day. so i ju7st had to gwet it because i figured it will be pregnant. Most pictures of the pearlscales show them kinda fat, but this one is the size of a golfball. it's body is like bigger then usual. what are the chances of this little girl(?) being pregnant? i'll get pics asap.

are there any signs to whatch for?

We have a coldwater section

It won't be pregnant, goldfish lay eggs, if it's full of eggs, it's gravid. Eggs need to be fertilized externally by a male. So do you have more goldfish in the tank?

i will the day i notice it has eggs....

does it have to be a pearlscale? it was like $8 T_T
