Have been uming and aring over my final fish to add o the planted 90 gallon.
1st Ember tetras
2nd then Threadfin Rainbows.

But after reading PFK Article on gouramis this months and seeing Pics on here.

Would they get along with the dwarfs and Sunsets.

Other tankmates are

Endlers, Cories, Ember tetras, Rasboras.
+ a breeding group of Platties for the Arow

should have done a search 1st, shouldn't i.

It shouldn't be a problem, just don't overstock, as they are all territorial, and dwarfs are vulnerable to sicknesses caused by stress. Count on 10 gallons for each pearl, and at least 5 gallons for the smaller sunsets and dwarfs.

thanks, Reserved some at an Large out of town LFS

Got Some,I think 1 is Male for sure as it has the orange chest.

Congrats, when I bought my male the second I put him in the tank with the females he turned very orange throated and it looks spectacular everytime he shows off. Great choice :good:

thanks.

They Look Amazing under the lights.
Have taken a few pix, but will wait till this evening when its a litlle dimmer.

I think I managed to get a male and female as the Mal is very deep colored and the female just follows him round blowing bubbles.

They have investigated the other gouramis and seem to get on fine with them.

1 thing though, I could not resist getting a pair of Platinum Sailfin Mollies, as they have been tank bred in FW and are the most stunning i have ever seen.

went into the LFS only wanting to spend 5quid on the pearls and came out 2hours later spending 30quid on fish

 I do that all the time, walk in for some fish food, leave with 8 new fish and a moonlight. Are you going to try and breed them? I am sure you know this but watch for aggression with only having 1 female as the male might chase her often. I would love to see some pics too :good: The mollies sound cool too so get those pics up! :hey:

They are def male female.
The female has chosen a spot under a poly cup and is doing that i've seen female fighter do when telling the male they want to spawn.
The male has picked up on this pretty quickly and is staring to build a nest.
