ive got about 3.5 wpg, amd 2 bottles of diy co2 running. i also use a half a pond fert tablet. evevn with this i dont get any pearling

What do you mean by pearling, like tiny air bubbles coming off the leaves?
The air bubbles are oxygen and under bright light should be produced readily but it depends on what plants you have. Broad leaf plants like swords produce more, whereas fine leaf plants like ambulia rarely produce much.
It also depends on how long the plants have been in the tank and if they have an established root system. If they are fairly new then they will still be settling in and recovering from the stress of being transported and put into different conditions. Within a month they should have settled down and recovered and start produce air bubbles.
You can try having the lights on for longer too and see if that makes a difference.

ive had my plants for only 3weeks so thats problably it. now that i looked closely, my tiger lotus and sword do have pearling. :good:
