well i was pretty happy today, i've had some riccia growing submerged on a piece of slate for a while with no pearling... its about 16" underwater

so i put some on top of a slate cave i made and voila .. pearling at about 10" of depth. the tank has 4x65w compact flourescents. CO2 about 25ppm

you can see the roseafolia's leaves down turned a bit.. added some magnesium thus far no change.

Congrats! That cave will look even better when the riccia grows a bit more. The rest of the tank looks great too!

Yep, they're all real. the tank is about 4 months old now.
