I have a nice piece of bogwood in my tank and it has now grown a nice blanket of green algae over the top surfaces. I actually really like it as it is a nice bright carpet which compliments my plants. I have a low light (about 1.5wpg) and no added co2 and as such I only have easy to keep plants like the anubias range and java range.
However I have noticed something quite strange over the last few days and my algae is almost pearling, there is a constant rise of little bubbles coming from it with a few little bubbles on the algae surface. Has anyone else ever had anything like this happen??
