Pearl gouramis and rainbow shark...

I'm planning on getting a 10 UK G tank soon to move my rainbow shark to, but I would like a couple of other fish to keep in there too. Do you think a pair of pearl gouramis would be ok with her? I've always wanted them...

the shark will do well with gouramis. but they will need a bigger home later on as sharks can grow up to 9 inches in length
