pearl catfish

i have recently move my catfish into a bigger tank and over the last couple of days i have noticed that two them have now got very large bellys that they didnt have a week ago, are they pregnant?

please let me know what u think.

It's A Possibilty but it could also be they are not getting enough food or too much food or they are under alot of stress. They could have also contracted a illness and you should watch them carefully and look out for un normal behaviors

Pearl catfish? Can you give the scientific name as often common names are made up by fish stores and most people have no idea what they are.

As CFC said, can you give us a scientific name, the ones I have seen labeled Pearl Catfish are normal ones from the Mystus group.
