So where are the pics of the new guys? :)

He's beautiful!

He looks different than the one I just bought. Mine was labeled "European peacock goby".

Miagi - will be posting the pics in a minute or two

Cometcattle - thanks :)

How big DD ? These are probably my favorite aquarium fish :) .
You got cockatoos for free ?
Try posting a picture comet , mine always looked very different in pictures , because the flash makes them look more blue than pinkish/orange/red

Or maybe someone picked up on a strain and is breeding specials [ like the differences with Microgeophagus ramirez ]

they grow to a whopping 2 and 1/4" , mine did anyway .

While I was on vacation I think my curviceps :( ate them [ they're out of that tank now , thought it would work , but no ], because I wasn't home to feed every day , and had my bro feeding what I left out to be fed every other day .

The shop I got them from is going to have more more next week , mean while 2 weeks ago I ordered some online , 5 to be exact and 3 jumped out the night I got them :( , I have a cover , they found a spot , guess they got spooked , new place and all ].

My son has them now , a male and a female . :)

I have three peacocks, two are fat and feeding, but one is thin and not looking good. The underfed one has a growth on its lower lip. Its not something that is affecting the other fish and the thin goby is eating as much as the rest, any idea lucky62?

[Edit: Lovely pics DD, my two out of three, look that good]

Would the ten be a species tank or a small community? As long as the other fish are farely peaceful, the gudgeons would do well :)

Very nice find DD, you'll love them

Sounds good as long as the angel isn't permanent :)

Thanks guys :D

Lucky - he's nearing an inch now and is starting to show his true colours :) that nice yellow belly is showing,
Sorry for your losses :rip: i never knew these little ones were jumpers! better be careful then

hmm, im starting to think about making a gudgeon/goby only tank, with about 4-6 various species, (actually, mainly bumble bees(FW) and peacocks and)so do you think a 5g would be alright for about 5? or should i go with a 10g?
