Can i put peacock eels in a tank with tangs? Thanks

I'm not too sure about tangs, but there won't be any agression from the eels, I could almost promise you that. I house my two peacock eels with siamese fighters, german blue rams, a guppy, upside down cat fish, an african butterfly and snails. I have had them in with countless other species and always with the same results. Peacocks are extremely comunity based in my opinion, I have NEVER had any problems with them attacking any of my other fish. Sometimes they can chase eachother around the tank, but even then they don't injure eachother, but as for the fish, mine completely ignore them. A few pieces of advice with eels though, it's virtually impossible to feed them anything but live food, all mine will take is blackworms. I just empty a serving of them straight into the tank and let the worms burrow into my sand and the eels pick them out at lesure. You should also provide them with a finer substrate as they like to burrow and can easily injure their snouts. Also be sure to have a cover over your tank and a space without water at the top as they are notorious for escaping. All in all, if you decide to get some then good luck and enjoy! They are fantastic and entertaining lil critters

I have my peacock eel in with a breeding pair of Platty's...he's keeping the tank from being overstocked!!! I love this little guy...he seems to only want to eat from my hand!! I'm going to get another one since they are social amongst each other.
