Not sure if this is the right place. I have a 55 gallon community tank with guppies, tetras, danios and african dwarf frogs. My other half wants a peacock eel. I am just wondering if this is possible with my current setup. Will it eat all my fish? After a lot of research it appears they stay around 6" in a tank is this true. Thanks and sorry for the dumb questions.

when it reaches its full size I would imagine youd lose the smaller fish at night

I think about 8" is average. I would say no because they are likely to much the guppies, tetera and danios and im not sure how they would get on with the ADFS

I say No
The Eel is a risk to your current fish and especially your frog

honestly you can my fire eels have never been with any fish before so i added 3 balloon guppies,1 tiger barb, 1 betta
they leave them alone they dont even care they swim by them they all get along just fine and the peacocks size is a 8inch and MAYBE no more, fire eels on the other hand grow 36 inches !!if fire eels dont eat them than a 8inch wont even bother..if youd like ill post a vid of them

How quickly do peacock eels grow? Thinking about getting another tank and getting one.
