Peaceful Fish

Until yesterday I had 3 tiger barbs and 2 corys in a 10 gallon tank. One of the barbs was killed by another, so I've removed him to a fish bowl until I can return him and the remaining barb to the fish store. What recommendations do you have for peaceful fish to live with my corys?

tetras? tho its not the largest of tanks and the cory numbers could do with increasing if possible

Unless your bowl has a filter and/or some source of aeration for the water, I would get him out of that bowl as soon as possible or you're going to kill him. They aren't labyrinth fish like bettas, they don't breathe air. They need aerated water to survive.

Tiger barbs need to be in schools of at least 6 to minimize their aggression. You could always go with guppies. If you don't want to deal with babies, just get all males.
