Pea Feeding Help

hi everyone, im trying to vary my gourami's diet in accordance with advice given on this forums by you kind people however when i put my de-shelled cooked peas in the tank the bottom feeding inhabitants tend to hog them to themselves

any advice?

instead of putting the hole pea in (if your doing that) smush it up in your fingers a bit so everyone can get a bit while it sinks to the bottom then the bottom feeders can mop up whats left

thank you for the tip gouramis got a small amount just not much...is it possible to get suspended feeders for top/middle dwelling fish?

because my bottom feeders are pretty vorracious

You could hold the pea in your fingers and let them take a bite off it. If your brave enough

Does he come up to the surface to eat? I find my fish usually trail around my fingers when I go to feed them, they know it's feeding time. Yours may not though. But if the gourami does do this, you can drop little pieces right in front of it's face for them to pick up right away.

havent tried hand feeding shouldve thought of it =) thanks guys greedy little suckers eat everything
