Snakeheads put pirhanas to shame at feeding time. Not legal in the US though.Hey guys. im trying to find a fish that attacks more aggresivly then the Piranhas?? Or a fish that is comparable to it?
Incorrect, You could have a pirahna that never eats a fish in its life be just as healthy if not more healthy than one that was fed feeders and/or live fish. You are correct they are carnivores but that is not all they eat in the wild. The reason we feed flake and pelleted foods along with others is that it provides and meets the nutrition needs of the fish. Not to try to start a heated debate here, but Piranahs do need some sort of feeder (or atleast raw flesh) as it's part of their natural diet in the wild.
AgreedPiranahs also eat nuts interestingly enough. All I was saying is that if you are trying to simulate a natural enviroment and a natural diet, then piranahs need some sort of raw flesh, it doesn't have to be live, but is does have to be meat.
/www.youtube.com/watch?v=dONqcKWYPpkWow mark that is a lot of p bass! Nice vid but I have to ask out of curiosity how many are in there and what size tank? I cant imagine how long of a tank you would need to house that many p bass long term.Peacock bass at feeding time nothing else comes close to just how aggressive they are here check this out. I had 4 but sold as they were ganging up on other fish 2 of them in my tank still means I get wet at feeding time.
