Please excuse the crappy decor, I cant put real plants in and I'm not buying anything else til I set my 7ft tank up, and it's been changed around twice over the last few days because of the common and royal fighting  In there are several pieces of bogwood stacked up to make many caves and hidey holes, a massive Y shaped clay pipe (hidden by plants on the right - parrots have claimed one side of it, plecs and rainbow cichlids the other), the terracotta plantpot (parrots have also claimed it lol), and a couple of man-made caves (one half log, one sandstone effect). There's also a couple of fake branches in there. And several really crap plastic plants lol.

First of all, our new parrots - no names yet, but they're a breeding pair (well, laying pair - I'm expecting they'll be infertile) - the female is the larger yellow one, the male is the pinky orange one:

Tank shots - please excuse mess - the triplets use the shelves for some of their toys...

Sorry the tank's nothing special, it looks a lot better in real life - the background is shiny black, but reflects this horrible grey/green colour when taking pics, so makes it look really shabby - it's not that bad really!

I love your parrots, especially the yellow coloured one - very pretty.

Can you get shots of the angels?

Kathy's gone home with the camera, but I'm sure I'll be able to borrow her photography skills again soon, she's only over the road :) There's one gold and one silver in there, they're on their hols - normally in my hubby's tank. We moved them over last week when my other pairs decided they wanted to play wife swap with each other, and these two got in the line of fire. All's settled now and they'll probably be moving back in there in a few days once we're sure it's died down. Although it'd be nice to keep them in this one, but I dont know if they're compatable long term with parrots?

Looking good - love the parrots, they'll like the tank :good:

Is Jim Royal named after the Dad from the comedy show The Royale Family??? If so, you should name the Parrots "Denise and Dave"

i second naming the parots denise and dave. lol     @ your plec called jim, jim my arse!! hehe.

I know, Mick says it was one of a pair handed in, but they sold his/her mate :( He said he'd have been tempted but he didn't want to only get one, and besides, I'm attempting to boycott their fish - I've lost way too much money shopping there lol. I still get my food and things there though.

Thanks for all the nice comments (and I spy you Mike - oi folks - that's the wonderful lovely fella who reserved Jim for me, despite wanting him for himself - isn't he fab?) :)

it looked a bit viscious anyway so its probably best he did leave it.

i really hate the shop but there the only place with a decent range of stock near here.

one of there new staff really talked down to me the other day. i bit my tounge.

Was it the local yokel? ;)

I know what you mean about local places. Maybe a trip to Pet City or Paws For Thought in Leeds might be a good idea? They're fab (apparently - not been, but it's where I got Jim and Rusty from). Much much better than FP.
