no, I think parrots get too big and min. for a pair is 55 gallons I believe, not sure but you might be able to have one

the rams would be fine but the angels need a tall tank, and also they must either be a breeding pair or in a group of 5+ and a group need around 55 gallons

Nah, parrots get pretty enormous. Are there any other type of fish you'd want? A shoal or more of a single/pair/trio kind?
If you'd don't want the run of the mill shoaling fish:
Zebra loaches
African Butterfly Fish
South American Puffer
Rams

ahem, not meaning to insult you or anything mate, but thats the first I've ever heard of that crud, angels will live quite happily by themselves, often they dont do well in odd groups, eg 1 pair + 1 as the single may get picked on, so that also rules out your 5+, and says 6 plus, basically any number you want if they are the same sex (hard to do) or go for 1, 2 (or a pair), three of the same sex, or get 5-6 young ones let grow and pair off and sell any singles, as this allows pairs to defend against others while not bullying a single fish

I've always been told angels shouldn't be kept alone, they need company of their own kind (they're may be exceptions of course, if the angel is super aggessive). Its best to start of with a bunch and see how they get along, they may all be ok, or you may end up with a pair or two, and some should be rehomed in that case as breeding pairs can become aggressive.

really? Ok. I'm just regurgitating what I've heard around on the forum

I keep 5 in my tank, they just keep swapping partners lol.

Hasten to add, that's in a 135g not a 30g ;)

To the OP, if the tank is over 18" tall I'd go for the rams and maybe one angel. Or a pair of angels and no rams. Parrots wouldn't fit in a tank that small, they need 55g min - they're bigger/bulkier than you think. :good:

ok. thanks for the replys.how many butterfly fish could i keep with two rams and no angels??
