Parrot Fish

I know im jumping ahead of myself a bit but I like to plan and i'm looking at getting a new 2ft tank and would love to get 2 parrot fish but I dont know a lot about them as in what are suitable tank mates? what water parameters do they like? and is 2ft going to be too small?

I don't know much about parrot fish; not my cup of tea, but they get far too big for a two foot; up to 10".

A 2ft tank will be far too small for even 1 parrot fish. You will need at least a 55 gallons tank. These fish can grow up to 8"
