Parrot Chilid

hi just asking advice for a friend they have got 2 parrot chilids one of them has laid eggs on a rock what are the odds on them hatching and how long does it take the male is guarding them so the female has been removed

i've read that parrot cichlid eggs are usually, if not always, infertile.

Parrot males are infertile so you wont get any fry.Their eggs can be fertilised but only by another type of cichlid.Why did you remove the female as both parents guard the eggs.
