I looked in my tank last night and saw little wavy line things swimming around the tank! They are really tiny. I just got some neons so I am assuming they must have hitched a ride? I have no idea what they are.

Also one of my guppies was trailing some colorless excretions. I am not sure if this has to do with the little squiggly lines or not. She died overnight but it might have been from having a bad pregnancy. She was pregnant for over a month and a half.

My water parameters are fine. pH hasn't changed, the ammonia and nitrite levels are well within the safe zone according to my tests. So its nitrate.

Just want to thank all the great people who tried to help me. I expected someone to at least give it a shot!
As I have a life and have only just logged on for today, this was the first time I'd read your question.

FWIW I have no idea what is wrong with your guppies but I don't feel terribly inclined to try to help, given your second response. Do a 20% water change and add some Melafix.

Incidently - not everyone on this forum lives in the same time zone. It is quite possible the people who need to answer your question were asleep when you posted it.

The little worms you are talking about sound like planarians. They are harmless but indicate your tank has a build up of bio waste. I only see these if a fish has died unnoticed but I think you may be overfeeding.
The stringy excreta you are talking about indicates internal parasites thet eat the food your fish is trying to digest, hence the stringy appearance.
Try raising your temp to 86F for three days or maybe 4. Metrodonazole(sorry for the bad spelling) is good for internal parasites but I dont know any commercial products with this in it. Iwould look for a medication which mentions internal parasites.
Usually I wouldnt medicate, just using temp to flush out the nasties, but your tank neds clean water and lots of it. I would recommend 10- 20% changes everyday until the worms disappear, cut back on feeding and clean the gravel.
By the way Nitrate may be fine also, its TDS total dissolved solids that may be the problem or more likely rotting food.

Good Luck,

Ken

THANX! I have been doing partial water changes everyday since I saw the little thingies. I will have to cut back on how much I feed them. I definately overfeed them.
