Parasite

I got some driftwood from a nearby creek and it was to big to put in a pot so I layed it out in the tub and boiled several pots of water and dumped it on the wood, now my question is would that be enough to kill the parasites or not? Secondly if i did have parasites how would I go about getting rid of them?

Aquarium salt kills 7 out of the 9 main parasites, just needs to be used very carefully.

Advantages of it is it allows you to treat illness and parasites without harm to your filter, and it can also reduce stress in the fish.

you will need to check if your fish are copatible with the salt
