I believe i have a parasite problem. over the past two weeks i've lost 5 fish. my tank consists of platys, guppies, and angelfish. my angelfish all died off, along with a couple guppies. two of my platys seem ill/stressed. they usually hang at the bottom of the tank, except for feeding time. they will readily accept food, but usually spit it back out right away. i've noticed several fish scraping on the decor, but its so few and far between that it never struck me as a real problem.

no visual signs of anything (spots, worms, ick) other than the clamped fins of the fish hanging on the bottom. it looks as if one is getting thin.(which is a result of internal parasites?)

i bought some parasite guard from the lfs it came with 8 tablets, which was enough for two doses. started second dose this morning.

looking for alternative methods of removing parasites... or other ideas as to what could be causing this.

all water parameters are in the "good" range
