Parasite Med - Removed Snail -

I treated a couple of weeks ago and our snail died. I replaced it (my son was very attached) on the sly. I am still having conserns of a parasite infection in my fish, so I treated the tank today after removing the snail. How long do I need to keep him out of the tank. Also, how long should I leave my filter out?

Don't remove the filter your bacteria colony will die, plus you need alot of areation when using a parasite med.
What parasite med is it.
Can't put the snail back to the black carbon has removed the meds.

what medicine did you use? you only needed to remove the carbon from the filter
