paradise fish making googlie eyes at each other??? a start to a bubble nest???

so the bubbles are at the calmest spot in the tank, a Tidal 55 on each short end... center of the tank is the calmest... neither fish looks prime, but maybe I need to get to work on that???

The male at least is ready. They don't pair, except to lay eggs.
