Paradise Fish In Trouble

My male paradise fish looks like he is about to explode. He is swollen on both sides behind his fin. None of the other fish in the tank are same... they are all healthy and the readings of the tank are the best they have ever been.
Any ideas?

are you sure its a he and not a she? not hard to make mistake....and how many times you feed him/her? he/she may have hate to much and might be constipated

try feeding him a shelled pea.

if his scales are sticking out then it is coning...and has dropsy.
