i just baught a paradise fish, he is mainly dark blue with a little bright orange, he is very cute n full of personality. i have had paradise fish before, but always kept them on theyr own. i was looking at the others they had in the store, they had the albino, black and common. i was thinkin bout gettin an albino, black and common ( the one i liked had more orange then blue, so there is more of a variety), anyway my question is would it be ok to keep the 4 together? and would i be able to put them in with my angel? and what would be the best tank size to keep the 4 (just paradise fish) or 5 (paradise fish and angel) in?

thanks in advance, vamp.

I'd say no unless your tank is really really really big. Paradise fish are some of the most territorial anabantoids. This seems a good occasion for setting up a series of beautiful smaller tanks..... Not trying to tempt you or anything of course....

Thank you very much.
i have decided on keeping them seperatly, after finding out my albino one was not well (unfortunantly he did not survive his first night) and the blue n orange one was trying to court it, as i said i have kept these guys singly before, as wel as bettas, so yea another excuse to set up a few more smaller tanks :hyper:
