just noticed our panda cory having trouble staying upright, decided to do a water change and now he is lying on his side. we also done a 15% water change yestreday because we were away and my mate said the electricity was off for a few hours but were not sure if it was off here or not. is it do late or can we do anything to help him.

cant test water till tomorrow in lfs but was fine last time.

Corys are prone to bacterial infections.
laying to one side is a sign of one, is the cory bloated.
I would get going with a bacterial med fast.
What do the barbels look like are they short and thin.

onle been keeping fish for about 4 weeks, how do i go about this. i have no hospital tank.

Need more info then if the tank only been set up 4 weeks.
Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Cook frozen peas for a few minutes, let cool down pop out of shell mush between fingers.
I would get your water tested tomorrow at the lfs and tell them to write the readign down for you.
I would advise you invest in a liquid master kit of your own.
If you have no hospital tank you will have to treat the whole tank.
Increase aeration as the med will reduce 02 in the water.

70L

I know its stocked poorly but trying to sort it out asap
12 longfined striped/spotted danio
5 corys (2pepper, 2bronze, 1panda)
4 keyhole ( going to return hopefully )

Still alot of fish for a 15 gallon tank.

Panda corys are the most sensitive out of all the corys, they need excellent water quality.

went to get water tested today, the guy in the shop took the water and my no and said he would ring me back but never did. guess we will invest in our own test kit now.

too late for the panda now :rip:

will try to sort out stocking asap

thanks for help

Sorry R.I.P.
Best to invest in a kit of your own, don't buy the strips there not accurate, liquids est kits are the best.
