hi.

can eny body help me.

i used to breed mollys and guppys so i know what to do with them.
but this is about platys never tried it before.
well i have got about 6 female platys all fat and full "o" babies.
but about 2 week after i got them pregnant they started to go a bit thinner but there was no sighn of babies n the tank.
could the mum have ate the fry. :byebye:
they are not in a breeding trap but when i used to bread mollys and guppys i never used one.

please help me fast as i have got some more pregnant platys and i want the fry to be there this time.

Platties are really about the same as mollies, guppies and swords for breeding style. Providing lots of bottom, middle and top hiding places for your fry will be a big plus. Try floating mats of plants and thick mats for the bottom. You should be able to find living fry soon. Then you can catch and raise them in a breeding net to insure their safety and diet. :D
