Pale Neons

Hi all could anyone tell me why the red section on two of my neons is pale.It looks almost pale orange and the top blue section also looks faded.I have had these neons for a year now,any ideas?

Need alot more info.
Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Neons will look pale when sleeping, can also look pale when you first switch the tank lights on.

Fading colour can indicate many ailments inc bacterial and parasitic infections. Need more info.

it could be neon tetra disease check out google images for pics of this and see if it looks similar.

Sounds typical of NTD to me. Are they all effected or just some ?
As wilder said, post some more info too.
