I have two female Dwarf Gourami in my 20UKG... happy and showing no aggression... they spend time facing each other head on, touching mouths... just wondered if it means anything significant?...

Are they deffinately females? This is behaviour most often seen between males establishing hierarchy. As long as it's not violent, it's harmless and simply means they are determining who is the dominant fish.

its the same with my perals, and i am sure they are both female

yes, definately both female - I had to replace the male I had with this other female due to aggression... thanks for the replies...
