Painting The Back Of The Tank

Hi, I am thinking about painting the back of the tank, is there special paint I would need for this or can I just use black emulsion or gloss ? Is it ok to brush it on or does it need to be sprayed or anything special ?
Any advice/help appreciated

take it you mean on the outside? well i dunno about what sort of paints i know the glass has to be REALLY clean though if you want it to look perfect.

I decided to go for an internal background as the 3D ones are excellent these days. I only mention it as my mate painted his tank and says he now wishes he had gone the same route as me. Worth a look, but each to there own!

I would suggest emulsion paint. Even tho it's water based, I painted mine 2 years ago and its as it was then. If you ever decide to change, it will be very simple to remove

u can get blackbord paint from b & Q works well and leaves no brush marks
