i just see a subscription section on the left side

that is for when you "subscribe" to a topic or forum, you will receive an email notification when someone posts in it.

no its not that. if u click on your name at top then click on edit profile. its on the left hand side at bottom syaing "purchase paid prescriptions"

Oh that's just an option they don't use here. The forum they use allows people to pay for certain surnscriptions and priviliged access, but everything here is free
