Hoover AL,
My generally peacful pacus are all the sudden really agressive well, at least one is the other is acting like a wimp.
The smaller one is aggresive.

How big are they, and what size tank are they in? Are they being aggressive towards each other, or other fish?

55gal 2 pacus one is 7 inches the other is 5 inches. one is against the other and i think they are opposite sex

55g will be too small in the long run mate, Pacu are BIG fish (3'+).

our zoo here in pittsburgh has pacus in a huge amazon like pond with a huge waterfall my point is one day when me and the old lady went to the zoo there was a guy in the tank in scuba gear cleaning some of the rocks and the pacus were as big as him. i bet some of them went 200lbs they were huge!!!!!!!!! so if i were u i would donate those fish to a fish store b4 it becomes a problem because u can keep spending tons of money buying bigger and bigger tanks and never have enough room for them IMO ur crazy to keep them and for advice next time u buy fish do a little more research b/c fish like these should not be kept by the normal fish guy unless u turn ur whole basement into a fish tank

convincing my parents to take me cause my mom just had brain surgery and i have to take care of her

yea dude u dont have to run out like today and get rid of them alls im sayin is i would get rid of them in the future b4 they get huge and the LFS wont even take them u see what im sayin

so if i were u i would donate those fish to a fish store b4 it becomes a problem

yeah i've been considering trading them at my lps

Query- what good will that do? As if the shop will house them any better/sell them to someone with room for a fish big enough to live in...

b/c dude what else are u supposed to do with them? i said donate b/c its a better solution then just killing them.
i mean not to many ppl out there could spend the money to house those fish as adults

Once donated to a fish store theres a CHANCE it'll be re-homed aleast somwhere more comfortable, or be given a half decent display tank in store, if kept in a 55g, theres no chance.
