i have an Aquaone AR620 tank with the wet and dry trickle filter in the hood and ive also added the Aquaone maxi 103f filter, the tank is cycling so no fish as yet but my main concern is that there wont be enough Oxgen in the tank. with the main filter being in the hood i know it means quite alot more oxygen gets into the water but would it be a substantial amount?

Thanks, Nick

trickle filters are excellent for oxygenating the water. oxygen gets into water best when the surface is broken or agitated, and water dropping from the filter into your tank is perfect so you should be absolutely fine.

you'll soon know if there's not enough though fish will gravitate to the top of the tank and gasp at the surface. it's dead easy to spot if there's a problem.
