Overstoked ?

my mate is to lazy to set up an account on here so he going through mine lol

he got a 70 litre tank with 3 guppies 6 tetras 1 goodied 1 clown loach 1 congo tetra 2 corys and 2 platties is he overstoked cause he wants to buy more fish but i told him he has enough and he dont believe me

is he overstoked or not

how long has the tank been setup?

and that clown loach needs re-homing, IMO he couldnt get anything else

clown loach will need rehoming also you have a single congo they need to be in at least a shoal of 4 here is a good few ideas for him with the fish he already has

idea 1: 4 platys, 4 guppys, 1 bristlenose plec

idea 2: (depending on what tetras they are) i would personally go for 4-6 black widow tetra, 3 type of cories maybe bronze,peppered or albino and a bristlnose plec.

hope this helps sort his stocking problems and gives him and idea of what fish are ok in this tank and also how many

ive told him his clown loach needs a bigger tank but he wont give it away he loves it lol he said he mite get rid of he goodied and get 3 more congos if thats the case ..his tank has been running for 3 months

i have heard that clowns loachs need to be in pairs tro is better and then they need a big tank

yeah clown loaches are better in groups
