Overreacting?

perhaps im overreacting, but i swear my platy is rubbing against the cave every time she goes by it. Could this be some sickness?? I hadn't noticed anything until now, and maybe im just crazy

flicking and rubbing are both signs of white spot... take a close look at her

it can also be signs of other parasitic infections such as gill flukes and velvet. Check the gills for being red and inflamed, and also check for a gold dusting.

Now would be a good time to check you water stats as well.

I don't think it's ich, but i don't see anything white on her...water should be ok i just did a change last night and put in a little of the anti-nitrite/nitrate stuff...also tested for ammonia tonight and it came up negative...it could be birth related as im finding fry in my tank and not sure which one is giving birth...ill keep an eye on her but i don't see her doing it anymore.

Do the gills look a pinky red, is she laboured breathing as well.
