overhaul of tropical tank

Okay, I have a 33 gallon tank and lots of time to prepare this thing.
I currentely have a tropical tank with neons clown loaches peppered cory etc, but I want to move to bigger fish just because they dont look right in such a large tank.

Anyone have good ideas for fish combination I could use, i know cichilids are larger fish but I dont know if I can do much with a 33 gallon, any help would be great, thanks!

I was wanting Yellow labs but I'm not sure what to do here, haha

You could have 3 or 4 labs in a 33 gal along with 3 or 4 less aggressive Mbuna like Pseudotropheus Acei or Iodotropheus sperengerae and maybe a couple of bottom feeders like the smaller synodontis catfish.
