Overflows?

Wanted to see how people felt about overflows.

I'm looking to buy a 75gal and have 2 options. One has an overflow, and the other doesn't. I want to use an external canister style filters regardless of which one I get. Which is a better option?

Overflows are needed for a wet/dry or other type of sump filtration. If you plan on running a canister you don't need overflows.
