Hello everyone, been awhile since i've been on here.
ok heres my problem..
just bought an 180gal 6x2x2 aquarium thats is drilled on the side near the top ..1 1/2" drain bulkhead and a 1" return bulkhead. which i need to plumb to my sump i am currently building. want to make an overflow box for drain and wondering what the minimal length of overflow box would allow for good top skimming. i also got an FX5 cannister im hooking up. so sump doesnt need to have huge flow turnover. Or i could just plug off bulkheads and run just the fx5. planning to stock tank with some tiger barbs(10), clown loach(5-6), sailfin pleco, and a red-tail shark.
any thoughts will be appreciated
